Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree… we’re far too excited here at Sassy! Okay, no more messing about girls – we’re officially one week away and if you’re not in the spirit, then we seriously need to address that in the form of festivities, festivities and… you guessed it! More festivities! These events are bound to crank up the holiday spirit and kick-start the celebrations. Merry Christmas one and all!

Afternoon Tea at The Continental

We Sassy girls absolutely adore a spot of tea and cake, lots and lots of cake! Which is why we are delighted to hear that The Continental are playing host to a delicious, Christmas tea with a huge selection of yummy sandwiches, cakes, tarts and of course scones – filled with sumptuous clotted cream and jam (don’t mind us- we’re just drooling over the keyboard). Perfect for those who are staying a little closer to home this Christmas, this elegant affair is a fun and dainty afternoon out. We’re giving one lucky Sassy reader the chance to dress up and chow (like a lady of course) down this festive season with three of her friends! This Christmas Tea Set for four (worth $800) will also include heaps of flakey minced pies with brandy butter just to really make sure you’re in the holiday mood!

Force Friday

If you’re not pumped for the new Star Wars movie, then, well… we’re not sure we’re okay with that…

And if, like us, you’ve been holding out for this moment and had your finger hovered over the ‘buy tickets’ button since hearing the news, then you’ll be super excited to hear that The Woods have recruited their favourite guest bartenders, John O’Toole and Tom Wood, to take you on a trip that’s out of this world! They’ve created a special, Star Wars-themed menu, and the bar will be split in two, inviting you to visit both the Dark and the Light side of cocktails. And yes, there will be themed music. May the force be with you.

Ugly Jumper Fundraiser

Every child in the world deserves to dream big and have their dreams come true, and in the spirit of giving back this Christmas join Stockton in supporting Half the Sky Foundation and make the lives of those under their care a little brighter this year. Grab your ugliest and tackiest jumper – you know the one – it flashes, shouts and probably has some kind of protruding bobble – and get yourself in the mood for a big ‘ol Christmas bash. With a portion of the proceeds going directly to charity, your contribution is your cover charge to the party! Seriously though, step-up that jumper game – there’s prizes to be won!

A Big Fat Thank You

Little Bao would like to say a ‘Big Fat Thank You’ by inviting all of you incredible people to join them in celebrating their second anniversary in true Hong Kong fashion – with a block party! Expect serious merriment, free-flowing Small Sake, beer and turkey baos (ohhh yeah) and come gobble and guzzle your way through Sunday as we count down to Christmas – we’re pretty much there right?

 

I Am Hardwell

A cheeky trip to Macau just before we head off for Crimbo? Ooh… go on then. There’s nothing like getting into the festivities with a solid night of partying and throwing a few chips down on a game of roulette (ya’ know, we do deserve a yacht for ourselves after all that Christmas shopping). If you haven’t already bought your tickets months ago and stashed them in a safe place while having counted down to this moment, you should have. There are still tickets left though, so get on it because Hardwell has dropped some serious mash-ups this year! It’ll most definitely be a big night, with even bigger house and electro tunes.
