Wacky races
If you’re looking for a little crazy this weekend, say hello to Hong Kong’s first ever Red Bull Soapbox Race! Experienced racers and dedicated amateurs have been tinkering for months to design and build imaginative human-powered machines (think dim sum trolleys and dragon boats!) to compete full-speed down the 600m track. The winners will be judged on speed, showmanship and creativity, so get set for a truly entertaining afternoon – it’s Hong Kong’s very own Wacky Races! Fast is good… but outrageous is even better!

Hold your horses!
Time to get your hats out… the Sa Sa Ladies’ Purse Day Horse Race is here! One of the city’s oldest races, this is an epic battle for HK’s most beautiful racing title, so come dressed to the nines, have a flutter on the races and check out the Enchanting Hat Boutique, Splendid Hat & Fashion Show and Sa Sa’s Alluring Lady Make-up Workshop with your girlfriends. If you’re all spent up, head to the other Ladies Day in town at the HKFC Rugby Club, where there’ll be an Itsie Bitsie fashion show, live music, a BBQ and fantastic prizes. So whether you want to bet on the horses, snap up some fancy hats or just have fun in the sun with some hot rugby boys, it’s bound to be an action-packed day!

October marks Breast Cancer Awareness month… so make sure you support the cause!
