Hong Kong Restaurant Week makes sampling the city’s popular tables a budget-friendly feat! Taking place from Tuesday, 23 July to Sunday, 25 August, 2024, you can enjoy some of Hong Kong’s most esteemed restaurants, for a fraction of the typical price! This is your chance to discover new culinary favourites, including lesser-known cuisine, new spots in town and more.
Don’t forget to set your alarms and book your tables from 10am on Tuesday, 23 July! In the meantime, these are our top four picks from the Hong Kong Restaurant Week Summer 2024 lineup.

The Aubrey – Elite Signature Dinner, $2488 for two
Recently crowned #10 in Asia’s Best Bars, The Aubrey is famed for both its bar scene and dining experience. The eccentric Japanese izakaya experience offers diners an elevated experience whilst keeping it intimate and cosy.
Menu highlights: The appetisers set a premium tone as there’s Japanese oysters and wagyu sando on the menu, follow that with chef’s selection of sushi and sashimi and three main course dishes – the lobster and Hokkaido uni fried rice stands out as a promising highlight. As for dessert, the white miso soufflé is The Aubrey’s signature.
Yat Tung Heen, Eaton Hotel – Elite Dinner, $498
The one-Michelin starred, Yat Tung Heen is a coveted Cantonese restaurant nestled in Eaton Hotel. A Michelin degustation menu here would cost you $928 per person but you can dine here for just $498 per person during Hong Kong Restaurant Week!
Menu highlights: From honey-glazed char siu to pan-fried scallop with minced shrimp, fried oyster with seven spices and braised black mushroom and goose web in abalone sauce, Yat Tung Heen’s 9-course dinner menu stays true to Cantonese classics.

Bedu – Category A Lunch, $198
An affordable lunch spot in Central, Bedu offers bites that are hearty, healthy, and tasty. Inspired by the nomadic wanderings of the Bedouin tribes across the deserts of North Africa to the rocky sands of the Middle East, Bedu invites you to dive into a variety of delicious hummus dishes.
Menu highlights: The three-course lunch set comes with hummus, pita and mix pickle for appetiser, with either truffle eggplant, garlic prawns mujaddara or adena beef kebab for main, and choose between the daily sponge cake or mango sorbet for dessert.
Sage & Salt – Category B Dinner, $298
An Instagrammable restaurant to get your Thai, Indian and Vietnamese fix all at once! Located in Taikoo Place, Sage & Salt makes a great after-work dinner option if you’re in the area.
Menu highlights: The three starters – satay, shrimp cake and cheese chaska – are all for sharing, then choose either the lamb shank, red snapper curry or Thai green curry risotto for the main. It’s definitely a tough one choosing between banoffee pie or mango sticky rice for a sweet finish!
