Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF)

The upcoming 47th Hong Kong International Film Festival promises to be bigger and brighter — with this year’s edition marking the return of overseas filmmakers to the city for the first time since 2019.

This year’s programme includes in-person theatrical screenings of new award-winning features like “Aftersun”, restored classics like “A City of Sadness”, documentaries and shorts, plus seminars, exhibitions, receptions and parties.
