Having decided what you and your guests want most, you’ll be in a better place to look out for a ship that suits your needs.
Team Sassy enjoyed a luxe afternoon out at sea thanks to Entourage, Hong Kong’s hot new luxury yacht charter company (the latest project from Singular Concepts, the team behind The Daily Tot, Tell Camelia, Barcode and Bianco & Rosso). It offers affordable luxury for those who want the best for their crew without having to splash out the big bucks. At 75 ft. long with three stories, the shiny new Entourage is the envy of Aberdeen pier. The recently renovated yacht boasts a fully air-conditioned lounge area, complete with a cocktail station and bar counter. Down below you’ll find a state-of-the-art catering kitchen and out on the rear deck is a cosy open-air dining area.
Get The Drinks Flowing
Hydration is the key to any good junk day, whether that’s a refreshing juice or something a little strong to kick-start the party. We’ve all been there researching the drinks options on boats and been left deciding whether to go with what’s on offer or hauling boxes of beer to the pier.
Team Sassy was VERY impressed by Entourage’s fully-stocked bar and cocktail station with free-flow libations as part of the package. We were each handed an ice-cold Prosecco almost immediately after boarding the vessel, which we took up to the front deck to enjoy as we sailed out to our destination.
Hit The Water
What’s a junk boat party without a dip in the water? When planning your perfect junk trip you’ll want to ensure check out what’s on offer when it comes to water sports and toys. Entourage can roll out the floating swimming pool for you and your crew so your guests can choose to swim as far as the waves will take them or stay close to the boat with your drink an arm’s reach away (we’re partial to the latter choice). You also have the option to add on a speed boat for banana boating or wakeboarding.
Catering For Your Crew
After all that splashing around, you’re bound to have worked up an appetite. Just as the right beverage list can make or break a day at sea, so too, can the food menu. Team Sassy were definitely satisfied by the hearty spread provided by Entourage (which we customised to make sure the allergies and special diets on our team would have plenty to eat too!). We dug into delicious salads, roast chicken, momos and more out on the open rear deck with the sun shining down on us.
Room To Move
Now that you’ve checked off the boat, food, drinks and action in the waves, you’ll want to ensure that your boat has room to get the party started! Onboard Entourage, the spacious front deck has plenty of room for dancing, and is also great for an afternoon yoga session, chilling with friends and snapping that perfect picture. Last but not least, the upper deck is the spot for lounging during the day, but also doubles as a mini dance floor and DJ station.
The fun’s not over till the boat reaches the dock! Entourage will get your crew grooving on the dance floor with tunes blasting through the speakers. With a professional sound system and plenty of room for dancing, it would be rude not to! It’s always good to have a playlist prepared in advance, but we were happy leaving it up to the DJ.
