Introducing Statement’s new classic afternoon tea, plus a special giveaway for you and a friend.
There are few things more quintessentially Hong Kong than afternoon tea. Full of savoury delights, sweet treats and of course the classic scone – what’s not to love? There are countless options in our city for when you’re looking to treat yourself, but Statement’s new offering has caught our eye.
Housed inside the historic old Central Police Headquarters building in Tai Kwun, the restaurant champions the finest seasonal ingredients sourced from the British Isles. With a top notch roast and other traditional British favourites already on the menu, the Afternoon Tea wit Ruinart completes the classic line up. Best enjoyed in Statement’s historical dining room, or outside on the verandahs overlooking the Tai Kwun parade ground or the bustle of Hollywood Road, the tea features a selection of fine British teas, a range of finger sandwiches, and the likes of vanilla and acacia honey cream choux, a chocolate and orange slice, and buttermilk Devon scones. Also included is a glass of Ruinart Blanc de Blancs Champagne, and the foods have been specially designed to complement both your bubbles and the classic tea options.
Launching just in time for Christmas, Statement’s new tea menu is perfect for treating yourself and your loved ones. Served on a limited-edition Ruinart stand designed by Ron Arad, it’s sure to give a little taste of luxury this season. And with unlimited sandwich refills, you’re sure to leave more than satisfied!
