Over-the-top, drool-worthy desserts to treat yourself to this summer!

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!

Summer’s well and truly here, and what better way to cool off than with an ice cream? The summer is all about celebrating so screw those fad diets and treat yourself to something indulgent and delicious. We’ve got our eye on some of the outrageous dessert creations from Ruby Tuesday, where size definitely does matter!

Ruby Tuesday has been in Hong Kong since 1995, so it brings back happy childhood memories for a few of us in the Sassy office. The chain is known for its large variety of all American fare – think BBQ Ribs, steaks, burgers, seafood, a DIY salad bar and more. There’s really something for everyone here and if you’re just looking for something sweet, you should definitely try out the extravagant desserts…

The Chocolate Tall Cake is served in a huge glass bowl (great for a cheeky Instagram pic!). Rich chocolate cake is layered with chocolate mousse, vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauce… we’re drooling at the thought. This would be a great one to share with the girls if you need a pick-me-up after a long week at the office!

We’re also keen to try the new Crepe Cake, which uses thin layers of crepe and vanilla cream to create a velvety, melt in the mouth texture. This is one sweet treat you won’t regret and you’ll find it on the delectable dessert platter! The Blondie is also sure to make you smile, stuffed with chunks of white and dark chocolate, nuts and served with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.

Decadent desserts, generous portions and a seriously laidback atmosphere is what you can expect from Ruby Tuesday. Go all out and indulge in your favourite traditional American comfort food in a casual setting – it’s summer after all!
