Mini Pulled Burgers at Cafe Causette – Vote for your favourite!

I am without a doubt a complete sucker for miniature burgers. The moment I see a slider on a menu I am pretty much all in. There is something so adorable to me about the little buns and I know this is completely ridiculous but I never feel quite as bad about eating lots of sliders than I do when I eat one regular size burger. Stereotypical girl behavior, I know.

So, the latest social media campaign from Mandarin Oriental pretty much had me at, yup, you guessed it, mini burgers…

Starting today and lasting until 25 March, Mandarin Oriental will be offering five mini-Pulled Burgers in Cafe Causette as a way to decide which two grow up into full size versions with a permanent place on the Cafe Causette menu. The voting will take place on their Facebook page and after your meal you will get instructions on how to vote for your favourite.

The best part? It just costs $88 for all 5 burgers and it is so much fun doing the taste test. For an extra $58 you can also have them throw in some French Fries, Green Salad or Coleslaw. They are only serving the burgers from 7pm-9:30pm so make sure you reserve your spot for dinner (this is perfect for a week night date!).

Last Friday, I went to a media tasting to preview the burgers that are in the running and it was so yummy! Each type of meat (Beef, Pork, Chicken, Lamb & Pork Belly) has been marinated and slow roasted, which reminded me of the process my Dad went through when he would make pulled pork sandwiches for family parties. The presentation was simple but great and the moment they were placed on the table we went to work trying to figure out which one impressed our taste buds the most.

My verdict? The little miniature that stole my heart was Lamb one! I now have high hopes the little guy makes it to the top two…
