Get set for our favourite weekend of the year
With Hong Kong’s premier music festival on the horizon music lovers all over the city are getting set for a weekend of live tunes, food, drinks and festival fashion (and maybe just a bit of mud). We’ve been excited since the dates were confirmed earlier this year, but with the full line-up being announced this week, we’re counting down the days until our favourite weekend of the year.
Into its 10th edition, the festival is set to go big this time around with more than 100 international, regional and local acts lined up, including huge names such as Massive Attack, The Prodigy, and the newly announced Kaiser Chiefs topping the bill. Along with many talented acts from the UK music scene, such as London grime artist Stormzy, Edinburgh hip-hop group Young Fathers, and punk-duo Slaves, there’s plenty on offer to suit a range of musical tastes.
Let’s not forget Clockenflap has a whole lot more to offer than just music. From food stalls (with the likes of Beef & Liberty, La Paloma, Blue Butcher and more on the list!), a silent disco, a range of stages and interactive experiences, we’re just hoping the weather is better than last year!
