HKU HeForShe x Peel Street Poetry – A Night Of Celebrations: Gender Identities

Held in collaboration by HKU HeForShe Student Society and Peel Street Poetry, celebrate a night of women empowerment in support of the UN Women HeForShe initiative. The event will feature a selection of talent (singing, acting, and more!), each falling under the category of four sub-themes: Love + Sexuality, Aspirations, Acceptance, and Girl Power. There’ll be great company and an open mic at the end for those of you who have talent to spare, so grab your friends and own the stage!

As a favourite second-hand bookstore to many, 100% of proceeds raised during this event will go to Flow Bookshop. The event will include a fun auction to keep the bookshop alive – so keep your eyes peeled and ears sharp for a chance to snag a great read.

When: Wednesday, 24 May, 8pm-11pm
