Conscious Couture – AWA Spring Fashion Show

We’re all too aware of the need to be more eco-conscious, but sometimes forget that the fashion world is one of the most wasteful industries out there. Luckily for us, ladies, there is now a new generation of designers who are supporting the shift towards a more conscious way to consume. So, if you want to explore some of these designers first hand, The AWA Spring Fashion Show is the place to be. With the opportunity to view and purchase looks by established and up-and-coming designers, enjoy a runway show and come home with a fabulous goodie bag worth over $1,000, it’s sure to be an unmissable event. With a focus on sustainable manufacturing processes and materials, the show will feature designers such as Heritage ReFashioned (we love the upcycled kimono clutches!), La French Cut and more. The show is part of a year-long fundraising effort on behalf of local charities that benefit at risk women and children, the elderly, and the disabled.
