Phew, the year has just flown by! We’re approaching September already and that means it’s party season. There’s a whole load of arts and cultural events going on around town this month – how many of them can you get to?! Mark these dates down in your diary, girls!
Shakespeare’s Globe Hamlet
Performed by Shakespeare’s Globe, the Bard’s work is brought to life on the stage right here in Hongkers. This tragedy (which is peppered with some humour!) is a pared down experience with just 12 actors performing – they are a touring group, after all! This is definitely one to check out if you’re a fan of Shakespeare.

Dylan Moran – Off the Hook Live in Hong Kong
Have a laugh with Irish comic Dylan Moran, who’s bringing his stand-up show to the 852. This one is especially good for any fans of him in the television series Black Books and fans of playwright Oscar Wilde. As per usual, he’ll be sharing his unique take on love, politics, misery and the everyday absurdities of life!

Maroon 5 World Tour
Do you have the moooooooves like Jagger? Adam Levine certainly does, so fans of pop-rock Grammy-winning band Maroon 5 should make sure to catch them in concert at AsiaWorld-Expo. A little birdy told us tickets are sold out, but ask around and you may be able to find some!

Beef & Liberty x Hushup Rooftop Cinema
What’s better than chilling out on a trendy rooftop spot in HK? One of our fave burger joints Beef & Liberty has teamed up with Hushup Events for a rooftop cinema series this month. Check out Indiana Jones, The Breakfast Club and Napoleon Dynamite over a burger and popcorn. There’s your mid-week entertainment sorted!

Hong Kong Dart Masters
If you’re into darts, check out the very first Hong Kong Dart Masters this month. Watch eight of the world’s top 12 darts players compete in knockout rounds and eventually the finals to snag a US$100,000 prize as well as bragging rights.

The Punchline Comedy Club: Whose Line Is It Anyway?
Have a laugh and enjoy some improv comedy at Tamarind with the guys from Punchline Comedy Club. Jokes From A Small Island
Head to Fringe Club if you’re in the mood for a bit of comedy. Three stand-up comics will present their material, including HK’s very own Nick Milnes.
