Elizabeth & James Fall 2010

I can’t believe I am sitting here typing about Fall when we can’t seem to get the Spring weather right here in Hong Kong. The fact is we’re nearing the end of April so Fall is on the minds of the serious fashion fanatics!

Elizabeth & James founders Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have recently released their Fall 2010 Look-book.  The collection is filled with all kinds of textures from silk pants to even leather shorts.  Another strong staple are the peep toe booties worn with knit socks. In true Olsen style most of the outfits are very layered and draped creating a look that would appear as though you really didn’t try too hard to impress (when in reality the looks are very calculated!).

My favourite look  below is the last picture in the 5th row;  the short black fitted dress with the feathery gathering at the bottom.  I think that would be the perfect dress for a big New Year’s Eve party. I’m not too sure that I’m loving the leather overalls…those are definitely meant for the person willing to take risks.
