Brush up your painting skills and let your creative juices flow at these art jamming studios in Hong Kong…
A known fact – no one has ever left an art jamming studio with a bad piece of art! Whether you’re looking to try your hand at a new skill, planning a catch-up with friends when it’s pouring or want a fun solo date, art jamming is the perfect activity to do in groups (great for team building too!) or by yourself. You’ll even be able to sip on a glass of bubbles or red as you paint!
Aura Art
To set the scene for creativity, Aura Art’s rustic furniture, Turkish lamps and green plants paint the perfect picture to unwind and let your imagination flow. The classic art jamming experience lasting three hours comes with a 30x30cm canvas and all the tools needed. Oscary Art
We love to wander around PMQ and without fail, we find a new gem every time. Oscary Art’s affordable art jamming package costs $200 on weekdays and $250 on weekends and includes soft drinks and painting materials. While the Causeway Bay location is bigger, we prefer the PMQ location’s seating by the corridor that overlooks the other side of the building. Choco L’Art Studio
Making art accessible to all, Choco L’Art Studio has been a go-to for freestyle art jamming since 2014. With guidance on tools, inspiration from books and touch-ups from experts, you’ll walk out with a piece definitely worthy of hanging on your wall. You can choose between acrylic or oil paint, both lasting for three hours but differing in price, and the latter requires previous experience.

Art Circle Atelier
You can have your art and eat it too! Ever heard of art jamming on cake? Art Circle Atelier’s newest workshop has paired with local bakery, Dear Harley, in which you can master the art of stacking cake layers and then decorating them with edible food colouring. If that doesn’t sound like your jam, you can stick to the classic art jamming experience and paint on canvases (either square, rectangular or circular) or tote bags.

For a casual art jamming sesh or team building activity, look at one of the three Platform Art Jamming Studio locations. Founded by a team of passionate art lovers, express yourself brushstroke by brushstroke, with no pressure to aim for perfection here! The Cheung Sha Wan location is the biggest, with inviting floor-to-ceiling windows; the Taikoo location is more cosy and comfortable and the HKMOA one is more sleek and polished.
