What we’re coveting this month!
Spring is springing and with that brings this month’s What Sassy Wants. St. Patrick’s Day, bits and bobs for the home, makeup and hair accessories all make the list, as per usual. Oh, and no worries if it’s March and you’re failing on those New Year resolutions… there’s something on this list for you, too!
1. Pilates Introductory Course at Flex
Perhaps your New Year’s resolutions have got the better of you and you’ve promptly forgotten about them. Get realigned (quite literally) at Flex Studio’s Pilates Introductory Course. You’ll get the most out of the group classes as you’re guided through the key Pilates principles on the reformer (that big machine which isn’t as scary as it looks – promise!). This is great if you’ve never done Pilates before. We had an awesome time with Heather when we last popped by!
The course starts on Monday, 11 April and runs for eight weeks every Monday at 11.30am at Flex Island South. Send an email to [email protected] for enquiries.
2. The Carney by BYDEAU
Leapin’ leprechauns – St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner! Celebrate the patron saint of Ireland with The Carney by BYDEAU: a pot o’ gold succulent and a box of Guinness-infused and whiskey-infused truffle chocolates, with free delivery. It’s the perfect treat for a lucky lad!
Available for $300 from www.bydeau.com
3. Urban Decay Matte Revolution Lipstick
Matte lipsticks are notoriously drying on your lips – no matter how much balm you slap on underneath, your lips are forever cracked. However, the Matte Revolution Lipstick from Urban Decay is super creamy, so you’ll look and feel great. It’s loaded with a nourishing blend of avocado, olive and babassu oils, Shea butter and more. The shade 1993 is an awesome chocolate brown and will suit any skin tone this spring.
Available from Urban Decay at Facesss
4. Cath Kidston’s Highgate Rose Tea Pot
This teapot evokes everything about British summer to me… and makes me want to be a fly on the wall (or a worm in the grass) at a Great British Bake Off final just so I can admire the pretty crockery. There’s something just so warm and comforting about making a big pot of tea to sip on over some telly bingeing… even better when it’s a Cath Kidston teapot.
Available from Cath Kidston stores around town
5. ghd azores
We’re still obsessed with the stylers from ghd, including the ones from the limited edition Azores collection. The straight look is out, so create flicks, waves and loose curls easily with this styler. Rob helped me with this messy-chic look by teasing the front section of my hair… bye, bye humidity hair, hello volume!
Psst… get your hair styled by the fab team at ghd every Wednesday night in April at Ce La Vi in California Tower. There’s a lucky draw each week and a $10,000 prize up for grabs. See you there!
Available from ghd stockists around town
6. Fossil Sydney Fringe Crossbody
After seeing this at the Fossil S/S ’16 in-store event, I couldn’t stop dreaming about this crossbody bag. It’s so festival-chic, and the available colours make it perfect for spring. It’s clean and the leather is super soft. I bought the one in Mineral Grey, but if I were more adventurous, I’d definitely go with the Seaglass one!
Available from the Fossil flagship store in Causeway Bay for $1,400
7. ETEAQ
We’re all about being environmentally conscious at Sassy HQ, and that trickles down to our accessories, too. ETEAQ is a range of phone accessories made of reclaimed materials such as fine aged teak wood from old houses in Indonesia. Upon purchase of a product, ETEAQ will adopt a new tree. And there’s a 6-digit code on your product, which you can locate on TreeTracker. Cool!

8. Wax Americana by The Candle Company
Sounds good, smells good! Evoke autumn memories with these fragranced pure beeswax candles from The Candle Company: varieties include Candy Apple, Gingersnap Cookies and Cherry Pie. You’ll definitely be craving dessert once you light one of these babies at home!
Available for $280 from www.candles.hk or by visiting The Candle Company on Lyndhurst Terrace
