HK not hot enough for you? Well, it’s time to turn up the heat an extra notch at Salon de Ning’s Fiesta Latina Made In Brazil Party! Get in the fiesta mood with scrummy cocktailssultry samba dancers and sizzling samba beats, courtesy of DJ CEET and Salon de Ning’s house band, all in the ultra sophisticated surroundings of Salon de Ning in The Peninsula. Thursdays are the new Fridays, don’t you know?!

A stylish birthday bash

Sassy’s fave accessories boutique The9thMuse is turning one – and of course, the best way to celebrate is with a stylish birthday party! With a DJ, bubbly, wine and some nibbles, you’ve got all the ingredients for a great night out, plus a little shopping on the side definitely wouldn’t hurt – so take a browse round the store’s gorgeous jewellery, accessories and home and beauty products whilst you’re there. Saturday night sorted! (P.S. Indie pop-up shop
Planning to head to Art Basel this weekend? Well, why not drop by The Gift Shop, organised by local fashion label Tangram, afterwards! Tangram’s lovely designer Paola will be turning their studio into a cool concept store showcasing fabulous products and collections from Hong Kong’s up-and-coming designers, illustrators, photographers and other creatives. Think eccentric creations like personalised leather goods, paper products, vintage goods, accessories, headpieces, collages and prints – you’ll be hard pressed to not walk away with a bag stuffed full of goodies! This is also a great opportunity to check out the bigger Chai Wan Mei event, where you can discover hidden gems (including amazing loft-style café Chaiwanese), urban galleries and other open studios East-side throughout the weekend.
