Got your Valentine’s dinner plans sorted yet? If the usual Hong Kong spread of feasts that cost a fortune and dishes full of unpronounceable ingredients isn’t floating your boat this year, we have the perfect alternative – a romantic evening of hearty homemade Italian fare at The Pasta Place! Catching a movie is a classic date night activity… but let’s face it, not exactly the most inspired of choices! Well, until HushUp Hong Kong’s Secret Cinemas, that is! For Valentine’s Day, a suitably sweet movie is in order – so they’ve arranged a special tasting experience to go alongside their movie screening of Chocolat. Head to the unique secret location for a mysterious evening with your Valentine, and indulge in Granada Food & Wine and Gaggia chocolate (including chocolate-wine pairingscheese and charcuterie nibblescoffee and ice-cream tasting and plenty more) before sitting back and enjoying the film. Photobooth funchocolate demos and a chance to shoot with professional photographers will seal the night with a kiss… Mwah!

A little chocolate always brightens up our day… So imagine how we feel about the world’s best chocolates, all gathered and ready for our delectation under one roof?! Harbour City’s annual Chocolate Trail event features 20 brands of sweet treats from all over the world including Bvlgari’s Il CioccolatoFrederic Blondeel and Chapon scattered across the mall in pop-up kiosks – you can either make a game out of trying to taste something from them all, or just let luck take you on a voyage of chocolate discovery! It’s not just chocolates though… they’ve also got scrumptious pastries and ice cream at the ready – we’re hearing particularly yummy things about Singapore’s Twelve CupcakesIce Cream Gallery’s weird and wonderful flavours (hello Bacon & Egg!) and Fauchon’s new range of eclairs. Get ready for a sugar high!

Wondering where to go this weekend? Well, how about a day trip to Stanley?
