We are always looking for new ways to appreciate local culture and creativity. From the best cha chaan teng to the latest local designers, we love all things Hong Kong! That’s why we had to share this night of local jams with you. For one night only at Hong Kong Babies, you’ll get to listen to locally produced tunes, spun by not one, not two, but six different local DJs! Hosted at one of our favourite underground art spaces, XXX, it’s definitely going to be a night of quality sounds. Don’t miss this if you’re looking for something a bit different that’s truly Hong Kong!

When: 19 April, 10pm-3am
Where: XXX, B/F, 353-363 Des Voeux Road West, Sai Wan, Hong Kong
How much: Entrance fee is $100 per person, $50 for XXX members

unnamedAll the world’s a stage
Forget Coachella, because Shakespeare in the Port is the place to be this weekend! It’s the biggest outdoor theatre festival dedicated to promoting and sharing Shakespearean work to the public. There’s going to be evening performances everyday plus matinees on the weekends for three whole weeks! On top of all the fab shows, there are free events and workshops going on too. With games, prizes, an Easter egg hunt and an open cast party, it will be a jam-packed festival. To be there, or not to be there… we’d say the former!

When: 17 April-4 May
Where: 100 Cyberport Road, Pok Fu Lam, Hong Kong
How much: Season passes and day tickets are available from $100, $300 and $1,000. See all details and purchase tickets here
