New Store – Patagonia opens on Lyndhurst Terrace

Walking down Lyndhurst Terrace yesterday I started to mourn the recent departure of Antique Patisserie Tea Room which in my opinion was the cutest little place (luckily it has not closed but only relocated….more info on the new location shortly). So lately I have been keeping my eye out for what store, restaurant, bar or coffee shop would go in its place and yesterday I found my answer. Patagonia.

Now, it may not be as fabulous as a new shoe store but I have a feeling it will come in handy for many of you when traveling to those holiday destinations that don’t require a swimsuit and sunblock. Last year, I spent CNY in Nepal and to prepare for it I was all over the city buying cold weather gear to keep me warm during my trek. When I returned to Hong Kong after my trip I was greeted with a cold spell here in the city (it was so bad I slept with a hot water bottle) so my fleece and wooly socks definitely came in handy even here. Lets face it….a cold day here in Hong Kong with no heat in apartments can sometimes feel down right frigid!
