This Tuesday, Pacific Place put on quite a show as it welcomed Harvey Nichols to the shopping emporium. Not only were there confetti cannons perched high over the celeb-filled party but also there were aerial acrobatic bartenders that poured drinks from above! While you were busy looking up, you may have noticed the 360-degree movie screen that showed a dazzling film especially produced for the event. While the movie wound around from screen to screen, models ascended platforms donned in the most luxurious fashion that Harvey Nichols has to offer. It was a majestic spectacle to behold, indeed!
The 83,000+ square foot store carries all the brands you know and crave as well as the newly available in Asia, bareMinerals (which we review here!). The space is without a doubt luxe and cost a mere HK$150 million to develop. As you round each corner a new experience awaits you. Discover not only womenswear, beauty and cosmetics, but also menswear, childrenswear, watches and jewelry and accessories.
Did I mention that you can save your shoes and let someone else do the shopping for you? Harvey Nichols offers personal shopping assistants to cater to your every fashionable whim. And if it’s bedding over Blahnik’s that you desire, well, HN is here to serve with its new living department. You can find everything from antiques telephones to Villeroy & Boch tablewear. Oh, and if you have an iPhone4, why not get a custom designed Harvey Nichols case to carry your conversations in style?!?
Mr. Donald Tsang even took time out of his hectic schedule to come and cut the ribbon with Dr. Dickson Poon at the grand opening of this beautiful store. So find an excuse and slip over to Pacific Place to take a gander at this new shopping mecca. It is sure to be worth your while and I’m almost positive you won’t leave empty handed!
